A collection of copies, including an incomplete Spanish grammar of the Náhuatl language (1547?); a Náhuatl treatise (1563?) on the Ten Commandments, designed for Indian neophytes and containing a Spanish prologue which refers to the author's earlier work on the subject; a Náhuatl treatise and dialogue (1563) on preparation for the Sacrament of the Eucharist, also with a prologue mentioning an earlier, similar work; a monologue in Náhuatl, representing spiritual advice from an Indian father to his son; and two pages in Spanish containing a cosmographical chart with Spanish explanations.

Ezekial Thatcher was clerk of the Parkville School District, Shasta County, Calif. He emigrated to California from Pennsylvania in 1850 and helped establish the first school district in the Parkville area. He is descended from the Thatchers of Uffington, England, the same family as Denis Thatcher, husband of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. From the description of H.H.
